Cocoa bean glass melons and copper earrings

These long elegant tube drops are some of my favourites to make - some beads just don't need anything else. These melon shaped glass beads are just such beads, in a lovely cocoa bean colour, enhanced by the colour of the copper.

The drops feature all solid copper parts, with small beads, tubes and headpins and hand formed copper earwires, hammered lightly for strength and the ends filed for your comfort.

The earrings drop 35mm (1.4") overall from the top of the hand formed earwires. The melon beads are 8mm (0.3") in diameter.

I have left the copper raw, which will gradually darken over time, but can also oxidise them to much darker, or partially polish them back to antiqued, as per the pair in the additional photos, with faceted blue glass beads. Please let me know if you'd like a different finish when you order.
