Green glass beads on long copper earwires

These melon shaped glass beads are just such nice beads, I don't feel they need much else around them. They are a lovely green/brown tone and an iridescent surface, which is further enhanced by the colour of the copper.

They are entirely hand crafted by me in solid copper. The beads are placed on hand formed copper ball headpins, with a generously sized ball, wrapped to hang from hand formed long elegant earwire, which has been wrapped at the front for extra detail and texture. The copper has been antiqued, by oxidising, then polished back to shiny, to enhance the texture of the wrapping.

The earrings hang 36mm (1.4") overall from the top of the hand formed earwires. Each glass melon bead is approximately 8mm (0.3") in diameter. I can also make this style with other melon beads as shown in the shop, or other stones/beads.
