Red berry glass earrings in Sterling silver

These hand made deep red glass beads look like juice-filled berries.  Thinking of summer colour I decided to keep them simple and understated and let the colour speak for itself, highlighted with the bright, tumbled, shiny Sterling silver.

The earrings are formed on my own hand made ball ended headpins and hang from long curved earwires, which have been hammered, tumble polished and filed for comfort.

The earrings hang 42mm (1.6") overall from the top of the earwire and the beads are approximately 10mm (0.4") at their widest.
