Hammered silver circle pendant with tendril bail

An entirely hand crafted Sterling silver circle pendant necklace.

The circle, or ring, has been freehand formed in heavy gauge Sterling silver wire and soldered closed, then hammered for hardness, shape and texture. I've made a double ended silver tendril which coils around the ring and forms the hanging bail, ending with a melted blob of silver on each end.

The pendant has been antiqued by oxidising to black, then polishing back the proud surfaces to leave the texture and details enhanced.

The chain, lightly antiqued to match is a fine weight Sterling silver cable chain which closes with a bolt ring clasp and is 430mm (17") in length. Please ask if you'd like something different.

The circle is 32mm (1¼") in diameter and drops 41mm (1.6") overall from the chain. The bail has an internal diameter of 6mm (¼") to allow easy switching to other chains and thongs for a different look.
