Antiqued copper Egyptian link spiral earrings - Oops price!

Entirely hand crafted copper swirl earrings. I must confess, these earrings are made up from components I'd made towards a piece that ended up surplus to the final design. But when I spotted that I had two each of the main components remaining, making them into a pair of earrings was the obvious solution.

It wasn't until I actually started to work on the photos that I noticed that they're not quite the same. The spirals of the Egyptian swirl link in the middle are slightly larger on one earring than the other - this difference is acknowledged by a £2 reduction in the price. As your ears are about 6" apart, I'm sure that no one will actually notice the discrepancy in wear. I've since tweaked them a little to minimise the difference further.

The earrings are entirely hand crafted from one gauge of copper wire and the central link is an Egyptian link or Egyptian coil with a spiral hanging beneath. I hung them from wire wrapped long drop earwires that have been hammered for strength and the ends filed for your comfort.

The finished earrings have been tumble polished for finish and strength. They are darkly antiqued - oxidised to black, then tumbled to work the surface into a lovely warm dark brown gunmetal finish. I'm especially thrilled with how the colour and finish turned out, I'll certainly be creating more copper pieces this way.

They hang 45mm (1.8") overall from the top of the earwires and are around 15mm (0.6") at their widest.
