Copper pin with purple cube bead

Hand made copper shawl or kilt style pin featuring a hand made Czech glass bead in purple and copper.  It is accompanied by dark red discs of Czech glass and Japanese Toho seed beads.

The pin is hand formed to the size of the bead combination and the point formed to be sharp enough to go through coarse weave fabrics like knits and outerwear, but safe enough in wear.  I carefully bend and position the point and clasp so that the point is snug within the groove of the clasp and won't catch on fingers or clothing.   The finished pin is polished to a high shine, although copper will darken over time, unless you chose to polish it to maintain the brightness.

Ideal to hold shawls or scarves in place, or simply as a decorative brooch. 

Overall length 50mm / 2" - feature bead approximately 10mm/0.4" in diameter.
