Polymer clay teardrop and Sterling silver earrings

Product Information

Teardrop shaped dangles made in polymer clay in a jade green colour with copper crackled details.  The surface pattern has been made with a torn paper technique, which was subsequently crackled with 'birdwing copper' pearlescent paint.  

The shape was sanded smooth and treated with several layers of acrylic sealant to protect the design.  

All of the metal components are Sterling silver and the drop is accented with matching Japanese Toho seed beads.   There is also a pair in the shop made with copper.

The hand formed earwires are Sterling silver and filed smooth for your comfort.  

Despite their size, the earrings are very light to wear as the polymer clay is very light.

The earrings are 63mm (2½") drop from the top of the earwires.  Polymer clay teardrop; 31mm (1¼") x 18mm (¾").
